Me again, wasn't sure whether to put two in one post or separate them.

Yesterday I saw a small snake crossing the street near my home. I was actually riding a motorcycle when I passed it, and it reared up as if to strike. It was finger thin, with a green body and a reddish pink head that flared out a bit like a cobra. It was around 9am, it had been raining, and there were mud puddles on the road.

Any idea what kind he was? A google search for "thailand snake green body red head" turns up nothing similar to what I saw.

The green keelbacks fit that description. They also flare out like a cobra sometimes, same as the red-necked keelbacks. Cheers…
